Each piece develops through intuitive decisions made at every stage of the making process. Because almost every stage remains in the designer’s own hands, creative decision-making does not end once the initial design has been drawn.
Small details can be spontaneously added, removed or refined as the piece takes shape, allowing each individual piece to develop its own character while remaining true to the original design.
MATERIAL — WEINAN PAN Signature Metal Language: Solid Silver Combined with Solid Gold
The combination of solid silver and solid gold is central to WEINAN PAN’s material language not only for the strong visual contrast between the two precious metals, but also for the different ways in which they respond to wear, environment and time.
Gold tends to retain its appearance, while silver is more responsive to its surroundings and may gradually deepen in tone or develop patina through wear and exposure. By bringing these precious metals together within a single piece, WEINAN PAN allows different forms and rates of transformation to coexist — quietly yet continuously — within the same object.
